Thanks. I guess he missed it.
Mistake on Guadalcanal ships
-
_If you look at the preview pictures on the game site, you will note that they have the cruisers mixed up. The Japanese cruiser is really the Portland class USA cruiser. And the American cruiser is the Japanese cruiser. Did anyone notice this? I sure hate to see them send the game to market with this mistake. Typically the A&A games go through great lengths to preserve accuracy.

Yeah, this was pointed out on Boardgame Geek. My set is a preview set so I’m hoping that the production version will not have that mistake. Like I said in another thread. Some sort of accuracy is nice but for me, it’s about game play.

Can somebody post the link to BGG ?

_Roger that. I am anxious for the game to hit the shelves. I have played Tokyo Express and it is really a great and detailed game but the mechanics take forever to reach combat and the record keeping takes away from the game. In my experience with AA, things move quickly and you can complete a game in a few hours.
Is there anything in the game regarding the Japanese torpedo advantaging during the South Pacific (night) battles?
Thanks_
