My usual horse came up lame this year, so I am not sure who I am rooting for. 
I know more who I am rooting AGAINST…

This generation of players -led by Crosby- will certainly go down in Canadian lore. That second Cup and most recent international gold vaults him into rarefied hockey air.

I’m from Texas, so I tend to root for area teams by default.  But call me a bandwagoneer, I’ve always respected the Yankees of hockey - those Red Wings.  Probably one of the best things out of Detroit besides Motown and some cars.

Back to the original post/point.  I only got to see half the game….the first half.  LMAO.  How’s that for bad luck?  Everyone is raving about it so I am hoping to get a tape to watch of the second half.

that’s funny in a bad way.  The first half did drag a little bit.  But you absolutely gotta’ see the second half and the overtimes.  Some wonderful drives.

Also Toronto Maples Leafs goaltender Eddie Belfour, born in Carman and maybe even his backup Trevor Kidd, from Dugald. Not bad for a nothing prairie province . . . .

The “Mighty Ducks”…Is that a cute name or what? Gawd,they should have came up with a better moniker…However,the Pond (where the Ducks play),has a section of die-hards they call “Pond Scum”…Now thats funny!!
