My name is Randy (bigethdaddy in the forum). My son Alex and I are located In Concord NH and Manchester NH. My son Alex and I have played Axis and Allies for over 15 years. We play AA 1940 Global with the Europe and Pacific maps combined. We are looking for someone else to play with. We have not played by the Victory Cities very often. We have our own house rules for 1940 Global.

We would like to find some else we could play the Global game with flexibility of the version or rules we play.

We didn’t like playing with the Victory Cities method for ending the game.
We created our own house rules to even the Axis and Allies powers to play to complete victory (resignation).

First we kept all but 1 (I believe) of the original rules in the Global rules in Pacific game rulebook. We removed Victory Cities for ending the game.

We think we have balanced the Axis vs the Allies powers with a change in the Russia set up and a couple additional rules and bonuses.
