The only facility that is buildable on your allies territory is the rail line because it’s the only facility that is built on a territory line instead of the territory itself.

Example: I know a rail line exist but for the sake of argument.

Lets say UK wanted to build a rail line between Jordan and Syria. You would build it on the Jordan-Syrian line however because Syria is French, you need France’s permission to do this.

Are you using optional rule 15.2?
15.2 Suez Re-Route
If Eastern Egypt or Gibraltar is Enemy-possessed, the British IPP in the Meiterranean cannot be the subject of Convoy Raiding. Instead, reassign the British IPP by adding 3 IPPs to the East African Line and 3 IPPs to the West African Line.

If you are not using optional rule 15.2, the 6 IPPs are not “cut-off”, but can easily be raided every turn.

AA Artillery is a land unit, part of the Artillery class (12.1).

However, it’s worth noting that fortifications are placed across a border and protect from attacks across that border (Rule 12.7), except for some Special Fortification Zones where the fortification protects the entire zone (12.8). The Maginot Line also has its own rules (1.23).

Therefore, if you can get your planes to attack from an unfortified border, the fortification bonus for the AA would not apply.

The same is true for the attacking land units if they can flank the fortified border.

I see the logic, will take some getting used to for sure to remember that, as it might not be considered intuitive, but I definitely get the thought process! Thanks for that!

Yeah I’m inclined to agree too. I was just curious how other people were interpreting the rule.

Thank god for house rules because this rule is an overreaction that’ll make planes a waste of money.
