Hi guys, first post. I did try searching but didn’t come up with anything but apologize if this has been covered before!
I play regularly with a couple buddies and we’ll often team up as either the Allies or Axis and play the AI. The AI has a couple odd quirks that we don’t get. Just curious if anyone had any input on this.
When the AI is running the US it almost never defends the East Coast and the Capital! If you invade Alaska as Japan the AI will stack 40 units on the West Coast and leave nothing or very little on the East Coast. So you just roll through Canada and walk in. It does this consistently.
It often doesn’t make much effort to retake a captured Capital. We see this when the AI runs Germany often. It will have plenty of units available to retake Germany, but it doesn’t commit everything.
I mean, we know it’s AI, but there are humans involved in the programming somewhere. These seem like major glitches that have been in place for a long time now.
