    @Pejon_88 please check your messages. I only brought in the 5 tactical bombers because I thought they could be used as an escort to the strategic bombing raid. I thought you could do without also tactical bombing the airbase, but TripleA didn’t give me the to not bomb the airbase.

    Did I misinterpret the rules? If so, do you mind if I redo the combat without bringing any of the tactical bombers and would you want to intercept against 3 fights + 4 strategic bombers? (if you don’t want to intercept either way, I’m ok leaving the combat as is and bringing back the 2 tactical bombers, or re-rolling everything for my mistake – up to you. I lost 1 of 4 strategic bombers to your AAA as it happened).

    If I didn’t misinterpret the rules, can just bring back the 2 tactical bombers that were shot down by AAA and repair your airbase, since it was never my intention to bomb your airbase?

    @tanios You misinterpreted the rules, but we will adjust. Rules say that you can bring tacs to bomb ABs and NBs or strategics to bomb ABs, NBs and/or industrial complexes. The reason people usually bring tacs is to deter the defender from intercepting since the tacs would also roll at 1 or less in the air battle. The downside is what you just experienced, that any surviving tacs must bomb and be subject to AAA.

    I do not want to intercept so please feel free to adjust the outcome, I don’t think we need to re-roll, only pretend that the tacs never attacked this round. Then I will play Soviet :)
