Lebel Grenadier Preview

@RisingSun I had similar experience, I was big into the naval miniatures but couldn’t afford both. I bought a lot on ebay a year or so ago and have played a few games. It is not difficult to learn especially if you are familiar with the navy side, it’s pretty similar but includes facing. I think it’s a great game and wish I had collected it some when it was active.

No, you cant attack and move with this ability. Must attack if able. Then, only attack.

I’ve been working on that for a while not; shouldn’t be too hard to mix them both in a campaign, though obviously not in the same battle - the scales are way too off. An A&AM map is nice, though really you could just use any made up one if you’re not too concerned about historical accuracy.

I’m not a huge fan of sea battles, though I don’t hate them either, but the game’s pretty decent. Unfortunately I can’t really speculate or comment too much on units until they’re officially previewed.

A successful defensive-fire attack disrupts the target. Since disrupted units can’t move, this
normally ends that unit’s movement. Grizzled Veteran ignore face up, so it can move.
If you are playing with Lethal Defensive Fire (Expanded Rules is another history.

The Polish Calvalryman is a nice touch to the game.  Thay will be easy to use in groups of 3 or 4 against soldiers.  Im thinking the best way to use them will be to hide and rush machine gun nests.

Not just machine gun nests but also for going after BAR Gunners, anti-tank guns, and commanders. But I really don’t think you need more than 1 or 2 to accomplish this. It is very easy for the cavalry out of line of sight.
