Panther is right, but I’ll offer one more clarification. Your allies can help you defend, but not attack. Destroyers belonging to your ally don’t participate in your attacks, so they can’t help your air units hit subs even if they’re in the same sea zone.

When defending, they do participate, so a UK destroyer can help US planes hit subs if they’re defending the same sea zone.

“A tank can “blitz” by moving through an unoccupied hostile territory as the first part of a move that can end in a friendly
or hostile territory. The complete move must occur during the Combat Move phase. The tank establishes control of the first territory before it moves to the next. Place your control marker on the first territory and adjust the national production levels asyou blitz. A tank that encounters enemy units, including antiaircraft artillery units or an industrial complex, in the first territory it enters must stop there.”

@Midwit-player Try ranked out. It exclusively uses the Larry Harries rules, which is 100% identical to OOB with the following differences:

Added UK-DD to Sea zone 7 Moved UK-Cruiser from Sea Zone 14 to Sea Zone 13 German Bomber in Germany moved to Ukraine Remove 1 German sub from Sea Zone 5 Added 2 UK Infantry to India (Total now 5).

What this does is:

Makes it slightly harder (although still very much possible) for Germany to wipe out most/all of the UK Fleet on G1. Allows UK to kill the DEI Japan fleet B1. Effectively leaves Germany without a Bomber, provided you don’t get terrible dice rolls R1.

All of these are positive changes that give the Allies much better options against Germany in particular. If you go for/pull off the aggressive opener against Japan’s navy you can effectively neuter their expansion options in the Pacific/guarantee to hold India for at least 4-5 Rounds, if not permanently (just don’t overextend into Burma).

It’s helpful to have the rulebook handy to reference when questions pop up.  Even if you think you know the rule it’s better just to find it in the rulebook and show your friend so that you build trust.  After a couple times of being right he will just take your word without question.

I have heard that Phillipines IC is good too, I haven´t tried it yet though.

Hi again. Bombers can do Strategic Bombing against a Factory and damage them. This makes placing units harder or more expensive.
Battleships and Cruisers can aid in an amphibious assault; that is called a Bombardment.
