After reading the threads, I figured maybe this way would be best to find an artist who can help. I’m looking for someone to help our monastery finish it’s customization of AA Global 40 and possible help, with what is necessary, on the pieces for Global War 1936…… the more intricate, the more monks like games like this. We have lots of pieces that are donated and pretty interesting. We would be more than willing to give the leftovers away. The “Ratte” Landkreuzer P. 1000 tank is my favorite. We have 3

I made some more updates to the map from request by another AA member. The first file contains changes to roundels and enlarged capital roundels. The roundels in Africa now are Portugal. Each territory in Persia has a different roundel and Eire, Iraq and Turkey also have new roundels.
The second map contains all the changes in the first map as well as New Zealand roundels for Solomon Islands and New Zealand; New Roundels for Spain and the addition of the Azores and Canary Islands.

Still waiting on Amerika pieces but hopefully I can start painting them soon. I did order some new factories from Shapeways and should have them any day. The new factories have 4 smoke stacks. They will be used for Increased Factory Production Technology.

Technology - War Bonds (These will be used to indicate the player has the war bonds technology)
Technology - Long Range Aircraft . (Normally these would fall over but they are magnetized and take up very little space. Even less than the plane itself. Any plane on a stand is designated to have long range technology) These are polarized to match any magnet on a plane or carrier. This works on any plane so I don’t have to have sculpts for LRA.

great job on the aircraft stand solution! what a advantage it is having a magnetized board. Since the planes are not permanently attached to the stand you don’t have to worry up them taking up too much space in your storage boxes…like I do…

ps looks like Amerika should be getting shipped out soon… All the pieces have finally arrived they are just doing their quality control. Cant wait for these new units… need them to spark up the brush again.

Normally the bases on these stands take up a lot of space but since I have a magnetized board I was able to use the small 1cm pieces that are normally attacked to the piece. I got these from Litko.
I am so ready to start painting Amerika pieces :)

I got them off ebay. I originally purchased them for Japanese aircraft. The decals came with roundels and other fuselage markings for aircraft. I decided to cut the lines to fit my air strips.
