Don’t worry, I had a coworker that teamed up with me but the other two guys told him to do the opposite of everything I said….while it wasn’t my fastest lost ever, I almost went to jail for murder.

Well, he is still young. Gotta make some mistakes.

What I like most about the game is the gameboard. The actual game did not fit my taste, the underworld and the threat of Atlantis sinking at any turn.

We had two players consumed with the thought of Atlantis sinking. That was the game to them. It was funny with it happened, a player had put all his forces on the island.

Another cool thing with this game is you can change the sound to War Tapes mode, and it is about as close as you are going to get to being on a battlefield from your living room. Awesome Multi-player, I’m on PS3 too.

the Risk 2210 rule book sez you may buy up to 4 command cards per turn.

It’s easy to miss this rule – just a one-liner somewhere near the front of the rule book.

So, that pretty much limits you. You can certainly end up with a pile of cards by turn 5, if you save em… also on each turn you can add a free card (along with a free chip) by virtue taking three territories by combat (doesn’t count if the territory was unoccupied) – but only one such chip-and-card can be earned per turn, regardless of how much turf you overrun.

Also, I can’t recall, but it seems to me that unlike in Risk, in this futuristic update the elimination of an opponent does not yield his cards to your deck. Instead, his cards are eliminated right along with him!
