@trenacker
I’ve been painting some pieces the last two weeks. I’m having trouble with Rustoleum Lemongrass for the UK. The paint doesn’t apply very well. I use Eden for USA, French blue for France, rustic orange for Japan, flat gray for Germany. Lemongrass is just a pain for whatever reason.
HBG Russian set painted

Ive been painting units for a couple of years. I prob painted hundrends if not thousands, I like to buy and collect every plastic miniature set thats out there, like a lot of you do. I just finished painting the last Russian set from HBG. Im in no way professional, and I choose quantity over quality. I still try to put some detail into it but Im not going too crazy. I hope you enjoy them, some of the members here have been an influence on me. I used oil based paints for a long time but I used water based paints for half of the set, after reading other ppl experiences. The results were amazing, a lot easier to work, drys a lot faster and the detail that leaves behind it was great. I purchased a mega paint set from Army painter and I was very satisfied with the product. The first pica are the inf, I used oil based colors on them. a little glossy but they look ok.

This is The Yak-6 transport plane, I used water based paints with a non glossy finish.

This is the Su-2 attk fighter, used water based paints on them too.
