    A few very interesting things though.  Italians in 125?  :lol:
    I guess that solves the Russian NO problem.


  • I messed up Jehol, there are only 2 mech, and 3 armor there….but yea, he took London after 2 waves, India was a disaster…I hit him, 26 units on 26, I had 4 1’s, 18 2’s, 3 3’s, and 1 four vs 25 2’s, 1 three…I hit 6, he hit 12…game over for India. I stayed 3 rounds, since his whole airforce could take india if I didn’t kill the land units…then retreated the air units to china…

    Outside of that…I traded London for Italy…when turn 4 was obvious…(since turn 3 sea lion failed)…I flew the planes and Americans to 92…then knocked out Italy. He had the z125 italians in z110 to protect the German transports from the UK/US air force…axis turn 1 attack meant I had USA units in London.

    Sorry for the delay, I have online college homework, Andy’s wife was off work, and he is hurt…so I can’t type, he can’t talk or type…Tomorrow I will try to post before work if able.

  • I asked for a ruling, however, I would like to point out the following:

    Russia is not a “true” neutral.  They are a member of the Allied forces and allow allied units in their territories in both maps once at war with Germany/Italy.

    To give an example of why America may land planes is the following:

    Germany is in Siberia, so America may never attack?  That would silly.


  • I agree that would be strange, but would also be a relatively rare occurance.
    I’d argue it would be much sillier for US to be able to land 12 bombers in Amur, wrecking Japan’s IC every turn, and for Japan not to be allowed to strike back without giving Russia 12 IPCs.

    A line from the Alpha rules-

    Due to its separate treaties with Germany and Japan, the Soviet Union is in a unique position in its relationship with the Axis powers. As a result, if the Soviet Union is at war with Axis powers on only one map, it is still under the restrictions of being a neutral power (see Powers Not at War with One Another above) on the other map. In other words, a state of war with Japan lifts those restrictions from the USSR on the Pacific map only, and a state of war with Germany and/or Italy lifts those restrictions on the Europe map only.
