No, anyone in our local area playing the Axis would have conceded long before that happened.

Okay, so I’ve played at least 10 if not more Global AA40 games so far, and I finally had my first defeat in France on G1.

True, I was trying out a new strategy and was going into it with less than optimal numbers of land units, but the dice calculator said I had a 99% chance of victory! Often do you guys lose the 1% battles? Right now its 1 out of 10 games for me, so I’m beating the 1% battle odds by a large x10 margin here. HOORAY FOR BAD LUCK.
Has not happened yet.
Yea, that was a pretty bad roll for Germany. I think if you had put in the 3 tanks from Holland that might have made the difference. Might have scraped by with a win.
The first game of Global we ever played my teammate didn’t put enough into France and lost it too. I usually err on the side of caution in the battle for Paris since it’s so important to take it.
Just today Anchovy had 96% chance for Sealion to succeed on G4 and got pummeled. He lost 5 planes to AA fire at the start. It was close at the end but he lost everything. I think we’re going to let him have another roll.

so allies have a combined 1% plus 4% chance to win the game. That’s great!

Holy moly, defeated by the frogs! Shame, shame. Back to the drawing board Sarjento.
too many times……lamenting
I played a game a while back where Germany didn’t take enough into France. That combined with some unlucky dice caused Germany to lose the battle of Paris. However, Italy just took it on their first turn so France was still knocked out of the game.
Once, in twelve or fifteen games.
Once, in twelve or fifteen games
About the same for me.
Ironically though, everytime I have seen a game where France didn’t fall, it’s ended up an Axis Victory anyways. I wonder if it has to do with the allies overcompensating, and trying to actually hold on to france aswell…
