You did realise, however, that a Sub forbids an amphibious assault, if the Transport(s) is not escorted?

Where is that rule in the book? I heared from it but in my game this weekend i could not find it.

Thought that transports can only ignore subs if they got a warship sailing with them.

However, a transport is not allowed to offload land units for an amphibious assault in a sea zone containing 1 or more ignored enemy submarines unless at least 1 warship belonging to the attacking power is also present in the sea zone at the end of the Combat Move phase.

So the requirement of an escorting warship applies to the ability to unload troops (not to ignore a submarine).

This means that it is not possible for Russia to be convoyed from SZ 19 via Manchuria (which would become a chinese liberated TT) but only SZ 6 via Korea (3 IPCs).

Yeah they took SA for another 6ipcs and such.

Part of the problem is my playgroup likes to split it up european allies and pacific allies. You figure out how to split the US money and then go from there. And the pac/euro boards are the dividing line for units. You could request a couple units be moved from one theater to another, but it makes coordinating the ‘global’ game a pain in the butt for the allies. So I usually stick to the axis when I can or find someone who’s willing to split it up by country vs theater.

Well I like it because it brings mongolia into the war.  I think Mongolia has too many troops, but well…

BTW they addressed the whole ftrs fly from Manch out to sea and attack Amur.  No starting units in Manchuria/korea can be used in the Attack.  So those planes need to come from carriers or Japan.

Sometimes with Anti-Air Guns its all about luck. 3 weeks ago I had just that I rolled 6 out of 6 ones and changed the course of the war and the look on Adolph’s face
  I think all of the opening moves are going to be available it will just be a matter of how well you can carry out your plan to make all of the next moves possible to reach your goal

Well either way. uk can only make 9-10 inf r1.  germany round 2 buys more transports and dumps what he has on to a spot near uk. G3 is boom boom if you got the forces or wait a round just shuffle a bunch of guys over and G4 it is done.

No, they can also be used in regular sea battles.
