Can allies share air,naval bases?

one thing that annoys me about Anzac Infantry is they won’t fit on the chip. Is there a modification I could do to fix this without having to completely cast a new base for them?

Huh? How in worlds would one keep track of such a mechanic lol  :lol:
Aircraft only get the bonus if they share a tt with an airbase
If there is not an airbase in a tt then no aircraft get the bonus movement out of that tt

The UK not only can’t land it’s units, but it has to endure one round of defensive fire from the scrambled unit(s) before it can retreat.  Any units on those transports are lost.

Not so.  Since it’s not the transport’s turn, it is not in the battle and can’t move.  The scrambled fighter simply prevents the amphibious landing without inflicting any casualties.

KH explained: A fighter can scramble to join a battle or against an amphibious assault.  It cannot scramble against ships that are just putting around its waters though.  This raises a new question, so I hope Krieghund is reading:  If I send transports (only), or even a fleet with warships to assault an island with scramblable (I made up a word!!) units, can I send a fighter into the waters with it, even though that is not really a combat move (but it will be if my opponent scrambles)?

Yes.  Just the chance of combat is enough to justify the move.

just for the record the people i was playing against said infantry could not shoot planes. they also said artillery could not fire without infantry to fire them. so 1 inf to each gun, if gun is hit so is inf… then they tried to attack my artillery and killed both with the inf since they said they could, then they all attacked my tank. i said wait i get to fire my tank first since it has not fired yet. they said the first part of the attack was tanks vs artillery, now second part is tanks vs tank…all in the same country by the way…then when i said they could not shoot twice until after all my units fired they said i was a cheater

Your partners seem to be extremely unfamiliar with the rules. That does not sound anything like how combat should actually be resolved in A&A.

Stacking Bombers on midway is a huge help for an attack against japan. Stacking fighters/tackies on Iwo Jima would be a big help as well. However, I’ve yet to see an allied victory using the “attack japan before UK falls” technique. Scrambling just shreds it.

What about having a combined purchase phase for all players?
And use markers for each IC (like fleet markers) to position purchases awaiting placement.
