Wow, that must be very exciting! :-) I’m looking forward to reading people’s first impressions!

I plan on playing tonight, and will give a review as soon as possible!

Oh and I wanted to say that I’ve been reading posts on this site for quite a while. I know I’m off topic so I’ll make it short. I’ve really enjoyed reading all the posts and ideas etc. Thanks everyone, I hope I will start getting into the discussions now that I finally posted myself.
Glad to hear it. I hope you get involved in the discussions too.

I just got an email with a tracking number telling me my copy shipped and will arrive tomorrow. So excited! Now I can play this weekend. :-)
How long did it take between when you placed the order and when it arrived at your door?
-
Maybe I got mine too, I need to check into it. Wow school stuff is so weird, here in Texas we usually get off in late May/Early June and go back late August/early September.

Oh noes!!!
From WOTC:
“Many copies of this game were sold early by several distributers. As a result we were able to learn that a large percantage of copies were shipped with no German pieces. We will work to resolve this error with buyers as it is to late to stop the release at this point. We apologize for the error and inconvience. If you read this far, I will tell you I made this up and there is no such news.”

Real news from WOTC:
“Unfortunately, because most of our money is spent on Magic cards, we decided to give the Italians the German tank because we didn’t feel like using the new mold. Additionally, we’re too lazy to give the allies different artillery. We also apologize for giving Russia unique ship sculpts while denying that to France and Italy. Because of these inconveniences, the game will only cost $200.” -
**WOTC Press Statement
August 24, 2010**
_Due to difficulties with our factories in China, every Europe 1940 box has shipped with nothing but potatoes in it. We apologize in advance to those who receive their copies. If your copy has shipped with potatoes in it, Wizards of the Coast urges you to purchase another copy in the hopes of that one not having potatoes in it.
If the second one does not have potatoes in it, we are again sorry. But now that you have two boxes filled with potatoes, you now have enough to make mashed potato salad. Therefore, WOTC thanks you for making potato salad._

i would not be suprised if this was the case…… wotc has done many strange things lately.
for once WOTC, do something right.
