sounds good. havent’ been able to dig out and check for myself. thanks.
Quick and easy question.
-
it slipped my mind. a tank can move through 1 friendly space and attack a enemy space that is 2 spaces away correct.
ex: moving tanks from russia through novobirsk to attack sink.
or moving tanks from e.eur through germany to western europe.
you can do this, correct?
-
Absolutely.
-
thanks, i get these rules and enhaced mixed up so often. on to my game then.
-
This is correct as long as the intervening territory is friendly or empty. If there is an enemy unit present, the 2 move blitz is blocked.
SS
-
And for clarity… enemy unit includes enemy IC and AA.
You can also blitz through a VACANT enemy territory and attack beyond it as well (including another vacant territory), but the territory has to be completly vacant of ANY enemy units.
-
But first I would have to have tanks in Moscow…
-
-
High demand, low supply.
-
Quick and easy question …
If Japan controls Moscow and Russia takes Berlin what happens to the sacked German money?!
-
Lost.
-
Ok thanks … at least it’s better than going to Japan.
-
The way I have always read it is…
You capture the income, but have not Capital Bank to transfer it to since your capital is under enemy control. As such, the cash cannot be properly transfered and is lost among the field units as they do black market purchases, etc. in order to remain viable forces in the field with no support from a defeated nation.

It is not “income from territories that Russia controls”, so the sacked German money goes to Russia.
Too bad Russia can’t spend it.
Page 18, Operations Manual.
-
Interesting…. on reflection I think Russia gets the cash but can’t spend it.
When your capital is in enemy hands, you skip all but the combat movement, resolve combat, and noncombat movement phases of your turn… but the capture of money from an opponent when you take their capital seems to happen “immediately”, or, during the Combat phase. It is not “collection of income”, which by definition occurs during the Collect Income phase… so it might therefore fall under a different set of behaviours.

Different question about tanks: Â IIRC, in Classic (and I don’t see a rule against it in LHTR), tanks could move 2 spaces when boarding a transport during a combat move for an amphibious assault. Â For example, a tank in WEur could move first into SEur and then into a waiting trn in SZ14.
Is this correct? Â The reason I ask is that in TripleA, the program does not seem to let me move tanks 2 spaces into trn.
-
No to the best of my knowledge a tank can’t move 2 spaces and then board a tranpsort
-
The only time this is allowed to my knowledge is on the Hasbro CD-ROM
-
Not allowed in classic
Not allowed in revised OOB
Not allowed in revised LHTRIf the Hasbro CD allows it, it was probably a glitch.
-
It is allowed on the CDR. May be a glitch, but it allows it.
-
And those who ahve psoted are correct, the BB must be in the same sea zone as a TRN that is offloading to the area being bombarded in order for a bombard to occur
( :-P I ended up with TWO posts to y’alls 1 post  )
