    Like I told you ;-).
    Previous game I think I made some tactical mistakes with Japan (other than loosing that IC, which I feel you should have warned me about), but no strategical ones. Then again, the game is still young and in our previous game Japan has been at ~60 untill J5 as well. We will have to see what happens.


  • It is hard to be patient as the Allies.  I will let you know if you make any major tactical blunders (15+ PUs).  I don’t want to win or lose in the Pacific simply because someone doesn’t realize that their fleet is in harm.  I thought that the factory attack last game was quite small since it cost me 10 PUs to destroy a 12 PU factory.


  • It is no big deal because I was able to have Japan cornered in the Pacific myself anyway ;-).
    Then again, that move interrupted the supply of 3 land units per turn in a critical area where 3 units more or less could mean the collapse or survival for Japan.

    If a mistake is easy enough to repair with a simple edit I’ll notify on beforehand. If it is not that simple, I’ll allow a rollback (and ask if you want one) anytime.

  • lol, I came online to warn you about the fleet off Java but you posted Italy at the same time I logged on…

    Do you sacrifice this little fleet intentionally?
    If not, you should redo Japanese turn. USA turn will look different if you change something, so I don’t think an edit to correct the situation will work this time.

    I’ll do my ANZAC  + French turn, but feel free to redo Japan after that (just reload the last Russian save). OR continue from my French turn. Whatever suits you.

  • Please also note I edited the RAF (conveniently counting the french FTR as RAF also ;-)) from Persia to Eastern Persia…
    Apart from the bomber, those aircraft were of no direct concern for Italy anyway, so I felt it was OK to edit them after Italy moved.
    I 'll put the bomber back into Persia if you actually did take that bomber into account during your moves with Italy.

  • Novosibirsk!
    The allied dice seem to be cursed so far (apart from a little success in Anglo-Egypt)…

    I hope this does not continue, otherwise it may invalidate our playtest :(. A test of strategies can easily loose any reliability if there’s too much favor of the dice on one side.
    On the other hand… If the allies can win with cursed dice, that will be very promising for their strategy :evil:.

    But I must redo my NCM with the Russians. I was too ‘shocked’ or at least annoyed because of ‘Novosibirsk’, to do that properly… I’ll repost the savegame after I have given the NCM more thought.


  • Forget about it, not much else I can do except the Russian sub back to #105, but you can edit that for me with Japan…
