What the hell is wrong with you amaricans!

  • You have to pay for a ride in a ambulance?!?
    Holy!

  • Oh my, evidently you haven’t seen the medical cost they charge you for it

Keep in mind, it’s A LOT MORE than the simple gas fee.

  • Heh heh, yeah at my friend’s house I was drunk and I was in the kitchen looking for the light switch, right? Then I fell over and busted my head open (got 6 stitches later) and my friend’s mom called the hospital and she was goin nuts, because they wouldn’t give me an ambulance ride unless I was unconscious, and we didn’t have a car there. (eventually, had to call my mom and stepdad and THEY drove me to the hospital)

  • This had me thinking: don’t beuracracies suck? Only if man could be decent on his own, there would be no need to pump money into churches and governments…but evidently man is too stupid to take care of himself and adhere by moral codes (like not robbing people.)

  • Well when I live in a system where I’m suppose to “only look out for number 1,” what do you expect?

  • HFW,
It’s a choice afforded us by the second ammendment.

  • Chris,
Your ambulance episode indictes a local thing. Here they’ll take you for any reason… a hangnail even.

  • Well the ambulances we have here are just terrible! They’ll stop by at the drive-through of local McDonalds while someone is inside with a heart attack! Then there are other reports of flashing their lights and sirens just so they can afford traffic during off time.

Moses it is not the system, but society. in communism, people still look for #1…

  • Right… why only look out for what’s yours, when we can move forward together? Why rob somebody when there is enough products for everyone?

  • you want a greedless society.

    that just won’t happen!

  • I’m sure I responded to this before…

  • Your replies are that a communist society wouldn’t breed that greed.

    i beg to differ.

  • No, but it reduces greed to a minimum because there isn’t a need for it.

  • greed is never needed, its wanted, and no economic system will rid its inhabinants of desire. people will try to make themselves better of than others, regardless of the common good.

  • Move this to Marxist topic.

Remember that even if it is true the society is nothing without the individual, the individual is nothing without the society.

And people are egoistic because of the common… We are working like our ancestor, fighting individually for survival, even when oppressing the others. Even if at first it was natural it became a deviance. We are simply in a stage of evolution where we most understand our ancient instinct are not working anymore. The “upper classe” is not anymore the more strong of the race, simply they are those you have exploited the system. Also we are not hunting animals in the forest, those with physical problem are not anymore a problem, they can be integrate in our society and be very good citizen for the evolution. The argumentum ad naturum you are using is very common for right-wing who want to caution their belief by using nature. Even if i think we do are animal, we are in a different strage, we will not survive while acting like we are now, pollution is largely due to the individualistic nature of the human.

stop dissing those who have worked hard and knew a good idea when they saw it.

For a true communist society to exist, individuality must be destroyed, and we must move “from the I to the We.”

I think it is a good idea, but it is unlikely.

That is the typical american reasonning, the fact is it is mostly Luck. Even if they had “good ideas”, that’s not a reason to make them more rich, more free. Capitalism is pure injustice…

False. The individual must understand his place on the society.

Individuals are nothing without the society
    Society is nothing without individuals

People are too ignorant, have a vision too short to understand that; so communism is for now an utopia. But this short term vision is costing us a LOTS now, we are destroying ourself. Those who were call “pessimist” now seem to be the realist, our planet is in serious danger… We cannot afford to live for ourself.
