That was not particularly good for you. I was complaining to complain mostly. You play Axis better than my regular opponent, and have kept me on my toes, and quite worried. Seems very impersonal to not type what comes to mind, as if we were across a table from each other. Because when the dice suck F2F, I curse, throw, rant, rave… You get the idea. Not at my opponent, but at the dice themselves. I have 50 or 60 dice on hand, just to weed out the ones sympathetic to the enemy.
Russia is still in a bad spot.

We both choose our action, first strike or submerge. If either chooses submerge the fight is over without a shot fired. Submerging doesn’t stop the convoying or impact your NO at all - you lose the NO if there is a SUB there. Basically you need to bring in a DD to kill a SUB.
