Looking for an Axis player to test a concept, A+2 or+3 USSR will stack in Amur

I’m looking to test out a concept for Alpha +3 or +2.
I really need to play the allies:
You can expect Russia to stack in Amur and a substantial effort against Japan first 3 or so rounds.
If interested, reply by starting Germany’s turn. I will be posting at least once every 2 days.
If you choose alpha 3, You will need to set the board up if its different.

couldn’t japan just kill amur r1? I know this will allow russia to have the troops from mongolia, but loosing 18 infantry and 2 aa guns…

Set up the game and find out :) Amur is a diversion- “bait” -that hopes to see the Japanese focus its efforts North.
The premiss is to Shut down Japan quickly-using every ally, with as little effort as possible to permit a focus on Europe later.
Almost every game I have posted on the forums has this approach. A few games saw disaster for Japan due to dice. While I do not count on luck, It did advance me in the Tournament before France got a turn. The point is, 5 (1 was rerolled) Amur gambits have seen 2(3 if you count the re-roll) end in huge disaster for Japan turn1: 8-10 land units destroyed and 3-4 air units lost…I’ll take that seeing as the IPCs lost in USSR won’t hurt until turn 3 or later.
The purpose of this game is to test a new method that maximizes US efficiency with builds permitting its units to operate “multi-theaterly”. This new concept is the process of using units in one theater and redeploying them instantaneously in the other. The net effect is that while production is initially “mono-theater” it ultimately serves “multi-theaterly” beginning on turn 5.
Note: This concept has a weak point, it can be prevented-or extremely curtailed(I suspect)- by an early DOW by Japan against a specific Ally.

I’m using this forum as a chance to display this concept, since no one wants to try the axis, I will have to play them as I expect they normally are played. This will of course leave plenty of room for criticism if I don’t do what you would. That is to be expected in a sample of only 1 game. This exercise will by no means be definitive. It is meant only as a “proof” of concept…to see if the premiss is a waste of time. These map files will be a reference tool, for further reflection and refinement that I and others can utilize to help follow the pending debate.
