No not British North America, we got rid of the red ensign.
That’s what canada day celebrates.
uh well it’d be a little more accurate to say it celebrates Confederation.
It’s not like Canadians dance around effigies of the document itself or makes conspiracy movies about that treasure map on the back of it. :-D

Canada wasn’t given any autonomy until July 1, 1867, which is what Canada Day celebrates. The Burning of the White House took place during the War of 1812 in 1814.

Canada wasn’t given any autonomy until July 1, 1867, which is what Canada Day celebrates. The Burning of the White House took place during the War of 1812 in 1814.
