For USA, USSR and Germany it’s a must…

About the US fighter.
2 different type. US army = P47 (I love that monster)
US navy = Vought Corsair

I love the idea of a self propelled gun.

The fighters…. not so much. All are radial engined fighters, and along with the OOB F6F Hellcat would look indistinguishable compared to each other.

I disagree. I think if we went Hellcat, Mustang, and Corsair there would be no issues. The mustang would have nearly flat square wings, and the Corsair’s wings are so unique it would be different from the Hellcat. I mean, you can tell everyone else’s apart without the color, right? I think with the amount of detail that FMG goes into, it will be no problem.

I agree with you, Variable - but not with crusader.

P-51 is very unique - and the Corsair’s wings would probably help in recognition.

I still with the P47 for US air force :-D

For US navy yeah,ok for the Hellcat. (Maybe easier to mold)
But why not why a dive bomber?

We already have the F6F Hellcat! It is in Guadalcanal and AA50, as well as the old A&AP. That is why FMG should choose other airplanes that do not look like the P-38 or F6F.

In most cases we would like to have the standard “ICONIC” tank for that nation and an alternative…  either a SPG / or Heavy Tank.  Like the Pershing tank? or M7 tank destroyer?

As you can see with ITALY we had a standard tank and a “Heavier” Armored piece SPG

USA pieces aren’t even on the radar yet.

Hey, I’m thinking about US, too.  :-D

I think the Mustang should be the dive bomber.  House rule has it defend on a 4 and do other “fighter stuff”.

yeah i read earlier fmg say that they had the 2 US tanks sculpts already. but i was wondering if you use 2 fighters such as mustang and the F4U and make one into a dive bomber would they still be scaled as fighters
