Does anyone know how to get a copy of Don’s ORIGINAL 3rd essay? The abridged version on www.fresservers.com only contains the first two parts (see the outline on freservers.com). Years ago I read the full thing, but can’t find it these days. It talked about getting the Japanese fleet into the South Atlantic, how to analyze when to use it to deter South Africa, when to dare to attack Brazil, thoughts on a submarine-producing Industrial Complex in the South Atlantic, and even considerations regarding the use of Germany’s first (alternate) turn purchase of a bomber?!, along with other air units, to coordinate with Japanese fleet. I wish I had saved a copy! Can anyone help me find it?
Original vs. Revised

Is the new revised edition stealing the spotlight from the original Axis and Allies? Which do you think is better, Axis and Allies or Axis and Allies Revised. In my opinion, you always got to stick with the original. You just can’t beat it :D

I ahve played both and Revised hits the spotlight for me… Better rules new options for strategies more pieces bigger map… Original gets its credit for starting it all but revised beats it!!!

all the new rules are a bit to get a hold of, but i love the excitement of discovery that’s back in the game

The original is just a classic and the board is better looking. Remember, you can always apply the new rules the original and the board in the original is just so much better looking.

I will second that :D.
