@VictoryFirst hey cornelius from the game thread is up for a game. I’m gonna set up a thread in a bit so we can talk there. I know you got a couple other games going and work besides, but the three of us could take it on if you’re interested.
Idk how much triplea experience he has but we’ll find out. Just a heads up. I mean, if you wanna do a support role for him or something. This only the second game ever played so … Actually I remember Captain saying some dudes used triplea to learn the ropes before they came over for ftf game :)
Anyway, however it works out. It’s all about having fun :)
Bet he’ll dig the new Elkstar map lol

I am interested and would very much like to play a game with you two guys.
Don’t mind which side I take, I let you guys decide that. Just want to know if Cornelis likes it too. He might want to do just a 1v1.In case we can do 2v1, I guess one guy will play Germany, one Japan, and the other the Allies?
Everything that has to do with this game is a lot of fun IMO, so I am fine with anything :) As long as we are not going to be playing Ludo, I really hate that stupid game lol.

Yea haven’t heard back from him yet. He did upvote the game thread, so he’s aware :)
Idk how much experience he has with triplea. Also, I think he’s probably closer to where you’re from than me :). Maybe you guys could team if he wants ? If not, if he is new to triplea, maybe you could help and advise ?
However it works is cool. We got a new member is even more cool :sunglasses:

I gave it a thought and I think you’re right - I am very busy lol. I still want to play with us three, but I propose that I play as Japan then. They only need to go once (unlike Germany/Italy), so you only need to wait for me once if I can’t get to the game immediately, and their turns are not too overwhelming. Plus, I am eager for trying out a new Japan strategy I’ve just learned in G40. Wonders if it works in the Expansion rule set.
Anyway, interested in your guys thoughts :)
By the way, what do you think about these guys?
Let me know if you like them - I will make a lot more in that case :muscle: Just takes a couple of minutes to make lol. Went with 48x48, let me know if that works out.

@VictoryFirst so just heard from Elk. He said go Big as he’s busy at the moment and hasn’t gotten started on anything since busting out the KickAss Relief :)
So Names and Icons is what we need. I’m working xml at the moment adding the KickAss :muscle: Army Tokens you made. Just finished G.

@VictoryFirst For icons we need the LMs. Blue Orange and Green so far but might as well do Red and Yellow too. I’d make em kinda blended or not so bright as my hack ones anyway. Idk what you’d call it. 48x48 seems good.

@VictoryFirst oh yea can’t remember if I said or not, but “png” images need to be small letters. Not “PNG” or they won’t show up.
I guess that’d be “lower case” for the educated, which you obviously are. :)

Wow, I like the new map so much! Those boxes are now in the exact same style as the other territories, that’s so cool! Like the logo too.
Yeah, I contacted Elk, and we arranged that he would do the names and I the icons. If he is unable to set aside time for the names, I can do those as well, although it might take some time as I have no experience with that.
Thanks for showing a picture from the map with the AG markers. The AG markers indeed look cool, although I think that they stand out a bit too much. To me, it looks as if they don’t fit in the picture, together with all the other units. Might need to give them a shadow, or a less vibrant color. But that will be something for later I guess, first we need to do the important stuff. This is still a prototype after all :) Can’t wait to start a game with @Cornelis-Post with the boxes and markers!

What also bothers me is that the roundel for the Germans is on the top, and the Soviet one is on the bottom. I want the AG symbol on top and roundels on the bottom.
I accidentally did one of the German ones wrong, I didn’t feel like correcting that, so I kept the same outline for the other German ones. I also thought that would help distinguish the Axis from the Allied ones. But now, I come back from that idea, seeing the full picture of the map with the AG markers.I can’t handle the asymmetry anymore! I will correct those asap, as well as the markers you mentioned. How many LM markers do you need? Which colors?
I will keep in mind that png should be lowercase. Do you remember which ones I accidentally saved as PNG?

Anyway, I think i just need todo auto place for timetable and the connections for the Boxes. Those will take a bit, but once one done, I can go paste mode.
We’ll be ready to Rock then :)
Oh yea, I moved D-Day to its Box. The dudes will still place in Alberta. Just looks more uniform to me.
At any rate, gonna try and bust this out in the next couple days. Probably overly optimistic, but thats how I roll :)

Just finished the markers for the timetable. Sent to you via email. Corrections for the army markers will follow soon, including the Desert armies, which I forgot to do.
Will start on those names tomorrow. G6 will also come at that time. Sorry for being late with that, I am almost getting drowned in all the work lol. I am playing 10 games at the same time, and I also have a lot of non-a&a-related stuff I work on at the moment. Probably just need to get my swimming certificate again :)
Anyway, if there’s anything I forgot to do, besides the names, corrected AG markers, and Desert armies, let me know. Sometimes I forgot who does what and what I need to do lol :)
