I’ve got a question regarding CVs and FTRs and their interaction…
- On US Turn, a ftr+cv sits in WCO/SZ55.
- In Combat move, the ftr flies to EJS/SZ60 (moving three spaces)
- Bry and Jap are Axis controlled, and there are no other Allied CVs in the Pacific. The only way that the FTR can do this attack, is if the Allies declares that the CV will move to a space adjacent to EJS/SZ60 in non-combat
- During Combat phase , the FTR is killed…
Question: During Noncombat, does the CV still have to move to a space adjacent to EJS/SZ60, or can it stay put in WCO/SZ55???

The CV does not have to move.

If the FIG is killed, the AC does NOT have to move; and can in fact make any other NCM it wishes.
If the FIG lives, the AC MUST go to the designated SZ to recover the FIG.
