• @Gewehr:

So I was woundering, what kinda of music do all of you guys listen to?

Me:Korn, Metalica, any type of rock…classic, hard, metal.

Lashing out the action, returning the reaction
Weak are ripped and torn away
Hypnotizing power, crushing all that cower
    Battery is here to stay

Metallica are great! Only thing St. Anger… I still have not manged to like it!

I listen also: Iron Maiden,  Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, Deep Purple, Pink Floyd, Police, Queen, The Smashing Pumpkins, Placebo, Radiohead, Oasis, U2, Bob Dylan, Steve Ray Vaughn,Anthrax, Venom, Megadeth, Dream Theater (not in particular order). And also something of my country.

By the Way A farewell to Luciano Pavarotti.

    “Tramontate stelle! All’alba Vincero!”

  • The only new metalica songs I kinda like are st. Anger….otherwise the rest suck.

  • I did not express myself well. I am speaking of all the album St Anger, I listen at it but… it does not “catch” me how the other album do!

smashing through the boundries, lunacy has found me, cannot stop the battery!

Most people would be confused if they saw my ipod.  Of course most people I know would think it was funny to find out that I have an ipod.  I’m what they call a redneck around here… lol

Anyway I have songs from Hank Sr to Waylon, Hagard and Jones to Toby Keith and Mongomery Gentry.

I also have selected tunes from Metalica, Disturbed, Ramstien, and an extensive Ozzy/Black Sabath collection.  I have some old school Beastie Boys and a couple Tone Loc hits.  I have some Wagner and Bernstein.  I even have Sinatra and Dean Martin.

What I like most about music is unique sound and I want something that matches my mood.

Some times I’m in the mood to do it like they do it on the discovery channel (Bloodhound Gang) and sometimes I feel the sickness rising inside (Disturbed) and some times I want to run a trout line and drink some home made wine (Hank Jr.)

There’s crap music in every genre, but there is usualy something good in every genre if you can find it.

  • Metallica is awesome!  My personal favorite song from them……Creepingdeath.  Who said a metal song cant have biblical references to it?

Also, Queen is awesome.  Gotta love their style.

Being from Australia I’m really digging the local music here at the moment. You guys should have a listen to a coupla bands you guys probably have never heard of, they being Powderfinger, Eskimo Joe and John Butler Trio.
I also like alot of the old school bands like Led Zep, Pink Floyd, Supertramp etc

  • Indeed I also like an Australian band very much: the AC/DC!

AC/DC is perhaps the best thing that has ever come from Australia ever……aside from the hot Aussie chicks of course.

  • Australia have also Wallabies (the Australia national Rugby team) and … yeah Nicole Kidman!

Those guys make some damn good Redneck music.  I was pretty disapointed when they came to Baghdad I had a mission and couldn’t go to the concert.  I missed CDB too, I did get to see Toby though…
