Anyone want a game of A&A Revised. Sorry thats the last game I’ve played, havent played for a fair while and would like to have a game of that to get used to it again before playing some of the new variants.I prefer to play by forum, am in the process of downloading Abattlemap etc, just have to remember how it all works again, unless someone has the time and patience to walk me through the set up and gameplay of a new variant.

Thanks for the invite Gargantua I might just wait and pllay a few practice games and get used to the formats again and what most people are playing. Hey whatever happened to Nccswitch, I used to enjoy playing against him.

No worries thanks U-505 will download the appropriate maps etc and will try to get someone with some patience to talk through a game with me maybe this weekend.

Hi guys, long time since my last game or post. Been spending some time looking through some of the latest posts and threads. Good to see some of the gamers still playing from way back when I used to play, around 2009 I think. Just lately I’ve been getting the bug again and was suprised I still knew my password to log onto this forum. I’m putting the feelers out there and wondering if the new versions and adaptions of the game are any good and worth learning. I used to really enjoy the tourneys of the older versions.
Anyway, just thought I’d say Hi and look forward to maybe playing a few games, to see if I still have what it takes. :-D

Just putting my 2 Bobs worth in as well, congrats over designing such a masterpiece for gaming. I too would make something similar but alas have noone around to play it with. In fact my board has only been used once for games, my only fix is being able to play against the rest of the guys on this site, which I am enjoying greatly.
Anyway good job and it’s great to see these sort of projects get published for all gamers to see.

Darth Maximus , JWW, Ncscwitch, Rising Dragon, Gamer and Jennifer are just a few of the fairly accomplished gamers on this site. Look through some of their games and you should be able to view some good tactical games amongst them. If your looking to join, and want to play some quality games, head to the league and join up, but be warned, you will get hooked. 8-)

Do you guys mind if we play by the rules I stated at the start up of this topic, just to give em a go. I’ve played in all 3 FFA’s so far and it is in my view that these changes will even up the game a bit. If it turns to pooh so be it, at least then we can iron out the creases even more.

Alas, I might have to pull out of the running for this Tounament as I will be away for the month of May on Holidays and will have limited access to be able to play as I will be travelling. Sorry about any inconvenience.
There are plenty of players better than me on this site anyway that will be able to take my place should they choose to do so.

Yeah I’m not sure on the full ruling on that, I assume you still lose what money you have in your coffers to whoever defeated you, just lets you live on to fight another day.
