@Trout - On UKs turn, only the UK ships are attacking. Any US ships in the sea zone are ignored in such an attack, on UKs turn.
@CorporalClegg Corporal Clegg - I’ve been looking for Anniversary Edition national objectives cards I could print, and yours are great! I did notice one typo that I wondered if you’d be interested in correcting - on one of the German cards, it says Kazakh SSR instead of Karelia.
If you want to correct, I’ll print a nice set of these through Makeplayingcards.com.
Subs are warships - just not surface warships (see the heading under Sea Units on p. 31 of the Europe rulebook).
I’ve never seen it done, but can you build a minor factory on New Zealand? Is New Zealand an “Island” as defined in the game?
The rulebook states:
Industrial complexes can’t be built on islands (see “Islands,” page 8 ) (this is on page 24, 4th paragraph of the Pacific rulebook under “Industrial Complexes and Bases (Facilities)”.
On page 8, I find:
“An island or island group is a single territory surrounded entirely by one or more sea zones. A sea zone can contain at most one island or island group, which is considered one territory.”
Technically speaking, on the game board New Zealand is not “surrounded entirely by one or more sea zones”, as the bottom portion of New Zealand runs into the bottom of the edge of the game board.
So what’s the intent? Could someone build a factory on New Zealand?
I’d love an authoritative answer from Krieghund, if he has time.
Thanks!

@ParkPlayerJD thanks! Cards on their way.
I still have several of these in both regular and jumbo size left, if anyone needs the 22 replacement cards to bring their deck up to 3.0
Matt
@ParkPlayerJD - yes. I still have some of these available. Just send me payment through PayPal, and a note as to which size replacement cards you need, and how many replacement sets, and I’ll get them out to you.
I still have several sets of the 22 updated BBR cards, if you have an older version of the 90 card BBR card deck, and want to update your deck to 3.0 without having to reorder the entire deck from MakePlayingCards.com
Available in both the regular size ($6) and jumbo size ($12).

@Panther Thanks Panther for this edit and clarification!

@Panther follow up question, and I think I already know the answer, but would like to confirm.
If Turkey was attacked previously by Germany (failed takeover - units remain), so it is now pro-allied, can the Italians fly over Turkey, to get to Iraq?
It seems probably no, based on your quote above, that you cannot fly over unfriendly neutrals.

Re: Can air units fly over strict neutrals
I’ve got a question, similar to, but slightly different than the thread linked above.
For example, if I’m attacking Turkey (strict neutral) with ground units, can I also fly an air unit over Turkey (route is shorter) in the same combat move, for another attack? This would be regardless of the outcome of the attack on Turkey.
I don’t see anything in the Europe rulebook,
and all I see in the Pacific rulebook states “Air units can’t fly over a neutral unless they are attacking it”. What if the country is attacking that neutral (Turkey), but that particular plane is not designated as part of that particular attack - that particular plane is wanting to fly over Turkey, to participate in an attack on Iraq.
