German units attack only. Units on same side can not attack together, but they always defend together. Also when you attack a territory lets say with german artillery (with infantry of course) and there is an Austro-hungarian fighter, german artillery won’t attack @ 4.

Japan I-400s should act as normal subs during the defense, so their fighter loaded on them will act as cargo /like any other/. The way it is now, you can buy two subs for 12 IPCs carrying (did I spell it right ?) 2 planes with attack value of 4, defense value of 2 and and you need two hits to kill em both, not talking about they roll 4 dice during convoy disrupt.
CV costs 2 IPCs more, doesn’t roll any dice during C. Disrupt, has 4 less attack power. The only things that CV is better in are that they can repair one damadge and they can carry one Tac. And last but not least, you need a destroyerto attack subs if you don’t want them to simply submerge.

Aint those the Box-arts on some plastic models ?  :-D

Hi, I am not very familiar with programmes like this so don’t know how easy or hard is to change something, but I would definitely add activation rounds to cards. Also, the Tankograd font seems a bit odd to me, even though it should imitate russian alphabet.

Every SA is one time only, so Russia wont have the coldest winter every year and Japan Kamikazes won’t keep reappearing. Correct me if I’m wrong.

2. Now that Germany lost its “Fifth Column” which I actually didn’t like at all I would add an optional rule, which I found very historical:

German Allies

Sweden becomes a pro-Axis neutral when Moscow is captured by an Axis power.
Turkey becomes a pro-Axis neutral when Moscow is captured by an Axis power.
Spain becomes a pro-Axis neutral when London is captured by an Axis power.

Some historicans agree that Sweden, Turkey and Japan would join the war against Russia if the Moscow would have falled. Not sure about Spain but it makes sense since they didn’t join the Axis mainly because they feared what would happen to them if Germany would lost the war. (now we can say it was a pretty smart decision) Maybe the fall of London would encourage them enough to join the Axis.

Otherwise I can see Delta 99% finished from my point of view.

According to my knowledge of WWII, Soviet Far East wasn’t a place of entry of Lend Lease material due to fact that waters there were controlled by IJN.

No ships were needed to transport Lend Lease material to Russia from Persia.

10 may be too much for territories which will stabilize under UK controll after some R3.

first of all A bombing Hiroshima/Nagasaki wasn’t why Russia attacked Japan (nor it was a cause of Japan surrender), it was because Russia with western Allies finally finished off Germany and had its hands free to attack and retake territories lost in the Russo-Japanese war in the beginning of the century.

From the gaming view, the whole OOB system is broken, I am playing with an idea of making an HR sound like this:
Japan and Russia begin the game not being at war with each other, Japan cannot declare war on Russia until Moscow is captured, and Russia cannot declare war on Japan until Berlin is captured by the Allies.

About your HR, Russia is merely strong enough to protect Moscow, not talking about some far east adventures.

So, I am playtesting right now and this happened:
Germany chose paratroopers, attacked RN in SZ110 with 2 transports loaded w 4 infantry to amph attack London. Also it moved 2 paras from WGermany and moved the whole luftwaffe in (except for 2SBRs which participated in the sea attack and 1 tac that attacked Egypt)
Now, this is what happened: Germany lost the naval battle losing both transports. But paras took London w 1Inf remaining for germany and altough losing a lot planes they now have some 114 IPCs to spend for Barbarossa. I look forward how this will turn out, hovewer I don’t see it very realistic that 2 paratrooper units can take out the whole country.

I read your results and this is what i think:

Russian winter
Really should be changed, so that dice rolling will start first time Russia is at war w Germany and will be repeated each round until 6 is rolled. Btw a chance that russian winter will happen before Round3 which is a German DOW standard is 42,13% which is rather high.

Actually it depends on German strategy and UK strategy. If germany sends several bombers to SBR  London each round than it’s better to go for Radar. However, if they are sending those bombers after Russia than UK should go for CA and send units to North Africa from South Africa easier. I often build 1 TNK and 2 Mech in SA for 14 IPC total and this leaves me 19 IPCs (playing with original NOs and keeping all my original tts in Europe). However if this would cost me only 11 IPCs it would leave me 22 IPCs for much greater variability of possible builds.

things i agree are in Navy colour,

German tacs will attack @ 4 99% of time since they are almost always attacking w some tanks or at least FTRs,

this should be balanced enough, btw I am going to play test today

To answer your question: probably not much, since it’s fresh and to fully playtest you need half a day or so, add up the usual time eaters like sleep, eat, work/school, rest… weekend is coming though  8-)
