My vote would be to pick up one more player and roll sides randomly. I loved the old…draw chits from a cup.
It’s really nice. We wanna do random sides, or does anyone have a preference? Right now we have a two on two, one more would be awesome.
Sure, if you guys want to get a multiplayer game together, I’m down.
I’ll throw down on a game. Do you have a preference for sides?
It does make for an awkward situation, Italy declares on turn three followed by Germany on turn 4. Italy then opens the front so Germans can asssult or land fighters in newly captured (Italian) territory. I’m not sure I like that, thy should probably be saddled by German declarations and not allowed to make any on their own.
This may be an easy question, but, I left my rule book at work. Is Italy allowed to declare war on a major power, specifically…Russia?
No, what I don’t realize is what is attacking to clear the Brit navy? You do know that scrambling is optional, right? If I dont like the odds, I save my fighters, then what is guarding your own transports? I don’t feel the need to argue endlessly, so we can just say we disagree, though, once again, I’m not above finding out if this works or not thru a forum game or two.
Play tested against who? I’m free for a forum game or two if you want to explore the merits of a Sea Lion attempt, I doubt you’ll win 88% of the time. I’ve looked at the odds, and I just dont believe it’s such a given. I think play testers might have caught on to that. Granted you do have to let Italy run a bit wild, but, if you have to Choose between London and Cairo, you choose London.
It looks like this game got started, no worries, maybe next one.
Also, their holdings were attacked about the same time as Pearl Harbor.
My understanding is:
A) Yes, they can scramble and will prevent all shore bombardment (the SZ is now defended).
B) The fighters cannot flee, they are now the defenders in a battle and cannot retreat (only attackers can call off a battle).
C) No.
Kreig is pretty awesome at answering promptly, and can provide the official answer, but, I’m pretty sure this is correct.
