What if Germany sends a fighter to tobruk and Tac Bomb to southern Italy.
In OOB without Bid, would you do it? The odds are very slightly in your favor so it´s a 60-40 shot to win.

@Pinch1 yes i know that video but it demands huge US resources so by doing that you are abandoning the Pacific and Axis can easily repulse the US landings. Plus they can destroy a portion of your fleet very easily.

@SuperbattleshipYamato of course it´s better to hit North Africa or Europe directly.
But when Germany fends of with fleet and bombers you gotta do something.
It´s only the fast movers that go there. They can reach India turn 4.
As i explain it´s a three turn investment. Other than that US can invest in Pacific. But with this move you have already some back up in the Middle East. UK can´t do this alone.

@simon33 what if they moved not one tank but 4 fast and 4 slow movers per turn. This will give the US some striking Power in the ME. UK can focus on building subs or fleet to convoy italy or reinforce India?
A minor in ME for US is too late i think.
Did Allies win in your game?

@Pinch1 UK can always put a blokker in 110 so Ger fleet can´t reach the allied fleet. And with some fighters on london Italy can´t can open those away but that is not a long term solution.

Trying to convoy italy and germany by sending subs into the Med and chucking troops via West Africa to middle east to fight there might be an answer?

@Pinch1 i must say you have a solid point.
When germany has a fleet of a BB (repaired Bismarck) and its G1 fleet purchase of a destroyer, carrier and sub, parked left of denmark that is a problem for the allies.
If he buys a sub a turn he has enough to attack a pretty strong allied fleet next to gibraltar.
Yes russia will be stronger but Japan will grow and a steady german march of 10 or more inf buy per turn starting G2 will ultimately push russia back.

I struggle for a solution and have been thinking of chucking US troops to the middle east via West Africa.
It is out of german range and fast units can reach egypt in 2 turns from there.
This needs to be combined with a sub warfare against germany and italy.

@barnee you don´t cancel the mongolian rule by landing planes and tanks in Sezchwan so it doesn´t have a negative impact.

@SuperbattleshipYamato correct. But it costs a lot in blockers so in my new plan i have a solution for this.

@barnee buy R1 a fighter and by R2 you can have the entire russian airforce plus tanks and mechs in szechwan so China can keep its ground against a Japanse air strafe and thus retake its bonus on China 2.

I´ve been trying to find other ways of saving egypt but it always comes down to a show off (a taranto 2.0). I´m making a video of a possible alternative but the problem is the axis (italy) will have options with their fleet so it´s difficult to foresee solutions for all these options .

@SuperbattleshipYamato they probably will but it might give you a second round of combat with unit(s) defending on a 4 in stead of a 2.

What happens now is UK1 you do taranto and when italy doesn´t scramble you end up with a loaded carrier.
On G2 the luftwaffe attacks that fleet and bc you have no landing space you can´t take the carrier as casualties.
If you take greece on UK1 then on G2 you do have a landing space.

@SuperbattleshipYamato if you don´t have greece you can´t tip your carrier bc the UK planes on them (after the taranto raid when italy doesn´t scramble) can´t land anymore.
I have never done it, landing in greece, but maybe players have?

@Arthur-Bomber-Harris me neither but when bought on R1 that sub can reduce the number of german troops at the doors of moscow by turn 6 perhaps?
