@Matt-Hyra yep I’ve done two already. Learned a lot of the rules before inviting a buddy over for the inaugural match. I love the new tactical layer that North Africa adds!

RE: Spending supply to defend
@Stucifer my reading of the book is the Axis are screwed. As the attacker, the UK can resolve combat in Benghazi first and destroy those supplies.
“Combat in each space takes place at the
same time, but each affected territory or sea zone is resolved separately and completely before resolving combat in the next contested space. As the attacker, you decide the order in which each combat occurs.”That’s an expert level play too!

Guadalcanal Map File
Was wondering if anyone’s created a file for the Guadalcanal game boards. Since it’s out of print I have no qualms over printing my own vs. the nearly $150+ I’ve seen private sellers listing this game at. Thanks all!

RE: Unit Movement After Advance Convoys?
@PGsquig thank you! How do you like the North Africa game? I’m really liking the new level of tactical decisions along with the traditional strategic level gaming.

Unit Movement After Advance Convoys?
Can land units move after unloading from convoy transports in phase 1? This would be either combat or non combat movement. E.g., in phase 1 a truck comes off a convoy in Tripoli and later in phase 5, can move east with troops and supplies.

RE: Anyone in western Pennsylvania/western New York/Ontario/northeast Ohio
@Patchman123 did you ever have any luck finding a group? I’m in Cleveland and also looking to plan a G40 game.

RE: Axis & Allies Community Map Files
@ambilzi fantastic! This is great stuff.
Thanks. My brother and I are playing ‘social distancing style’ so we’re looking to get him a map for his house and supplement it with the 100’s of pieces that I have across all the game variations! Then we’ll use the new map for my game table once this pandemic ends.

@Young-Grasshopper @Tjoek @Intrepid @ambilzi are these maps still available for download? Looks like the MediaFire links are no longer any good. Thanks!
