Anyone up for a team game of 1940 global? Alpha+ .2 rules/setup, no tech.
2v2/2v3/3v3 are all fine by me.
Alternatively I’d be fine with a one on one game if there’s not enough interest.
And why would I EVER build a destroyer? if my opponent is never building subs? It can’t be used to bombard - and it’s less effective on defense… in come the cruiser.
Actually destroyers are, cost-wise, superior to cruisers on defense. Not saying that cruisers are useless. I like them.
In the rules that come with the box, you cannot, because Iceland is considered part of Europe, and so America cannot park by it while neutral.
In the Alpha+ .2 rules, which are newer rules that fix balancing issues in the game, America cannot do so, because (on the Europe side of the map) American transports cannot remain in seazones other than those adjacent to American territories. Warships may only be in those sea zones, in addition to zone 102.
The rules for Alpha+ .2 are different for the Pacific side of the map.
Well if I see you spending like that I take London G2 on the cheap.
And I definitely don’t buy 10 transports G2. Ha.
With an enormous land troop buy on both G2 and now G3, Russia is in enormous trouble. You can’t pull back on London like that with no consequences against a smart Germany.
