just reread aa50 rules and noticed that subs cannot submerge with enemy destroyer present. this is different from previous
versions. what was the impetus for the rule change?
My play group runs out of Japanese tanks. They usually get two IC’s in Asia, and go for the tank March to Moscow. I scavenged extra tanks and roundels from my original Axis and Allies game.
Ah - the BGG photos of the D-Day fighters are one props, I think they’re the same as the AAA50th. Damns… eh eh eh - I painted all my US minis from AAA50th as Corsairs. I didn’t think it was that much of a stretch - considering that the sculpt isn’t the greatest…
…
I would like to point out that if you don’t have a destroyer in you attacking force the defender may choose to submerge the subs in which casew you have your desired attack…ti piace?
I know, I know… Yeah, I like it, but I would prefer if I could choose… ;)
We used a red marker to paint the tips of some old AA guns to denote rockets. We did it mainly to remember you have rockets. It really sucks when you forget to fire them, it happens every now and again. You could also paint them another color to denote radar.
