R1 Japan attack India sea

I guess Sealion isn’t the best idea.  Germany would have to do all the work by him/her self.

Going at the US would be better both Japan and Germany could work together and like Jen said who would think that was going to happen.

If you built a Royal Navy Fleet on UK1, UK 2 or had enough fleet left after Germany attacked on G1 to start building trans, 3 to 4 trans is good for UK depending on how much of Africa Germany took (4 to 9 IPCs lost leaving UK with 21 to 26[unless Japan has(God forbid!) taken Ind, Aus and/or NZ, though that is unlikely]).

Building US forces, moving them the next turn to E Can and shucking them on the following turn to UK, Fin/Nor or W Eur with UK/US naval protection(Alg or W Eur is the same if UK fleet has move tothe West Spain sea zone)let’s you do it with about 5 trans.

Extra trans give you an attack buffer and the option to move in two directions with protection and/or a buffer.

I believe Morphling and Jhilton’s Asia ploy is sometimes referred to as
“setting up Dead Zones.”

If the enemy attacks a territory s/he may succeed in taking the territory, but the occupying force will be overwhelmed by a stronger counterattack on the opponent’s next turn and the territory will be lost for the foreseeable future.

There is a mythical Japanese strategy out there that has yet to be discovered. It involves Japan putting equal amounts of pressure on Russia and the US with the idea that Germany would have some relief from the US but would face more pressure from Russia.

Anybody want to move to New Jersey, become a US Senator, accept bribes, only have to give the non-financial gifts back, and get a slap on the wrist from the US Senate, while the dude who bribes you has to serve time in prison? Reminds me of the good old days back in Chappaquidic(sp.?). Sorry, just got a little nostalgic.

It seems that creating one sea zone out of the Bearing Straight wouldn’t be that great an advantage. With the two movement points for a transport one would be able to shift troops from Alaska to The Soviet Far East just as quickly as if there were only one sea zone between them.

I did once and highly regretted it. Japan had attacked India, taken it, lost it taken it back…etc. They called on Germany (I, conqueror of Africa) to help and I took it myself w/ 2 ARM. Unfortunately, Japan chose not to reinforce me and the USSR took India back. Japan took India AGAIN and begged me to land a FTR for defense and I did. They promptly moved OUT and left my precious FTR to die alone. Needless to say I never played alongside this guy again–at least while he was Japan.

Hmmm, now that I think about it you may be right Yanny, Britian may have lost those transports already. With a little help from the Russians Britian might still have the transport from around the UK, and chances are the Germans will ignore the one off of Canada, so my plan still has a chance.
