@CWO:
I think the two pictures are clearly related, as shown by the selected sections below:
Nice. Didn’t catch that myself.
first things first i qrote that essay when i was tired i wasnt realley thinking about what i was writing lol and Mr note and I joke about that all the time, he laughs and gives me one of those ur weird looks lol. he doesnt want to kill me but he wants to kick the poop out of me in a boxing match lol
May I quote you “And I think all leftists should be erraticated”. And may I quote his response “if you ever try to act on any of your views, I’m going to take you down!”.
and i didnt say that i said " The more Leftists/Liberals there are the harder it will be when the time comes to Eradicate them" and then i put the Fascist Axe and sticks at the bottom of the paper :P
CC, you are a god! Thanks so much for your help! (and I did mention Canada in the final draft).
no problem - glad i could be of assistance. If it was a more “scientific paper” i might have been more effective, but you have a good writing style overall, so it was easy.
What grade are you guys in?
approximately grade 21
10th
And it was HIS invasion of Kuwait that led to the Gulf war and the fact that Saudi Arabia was next. Ooops, getting off track.
The invasion of Kuwait started the second gulf war. The first was started by the Iraqi’s invasion of Iran, Iraq being strongly backed by the US at that time.
Yep also 10th
welll immore like 9.8 cus im still in some Freshmen classes :(
Isn’t that a little short to be a term paper? :)
Call it a report then :) Was only supposed to be 750 words. Mine though is about 1400.
Never use the pronouns “I” or “we” in an essay.
When the assignment is “Right a Paper, in Your Opinion, should we go to war with Iraq based on…”, well I is OK :)
Well, I still don’t like to use I. I’d say something like, Some legitimately say that the Untied States should not attack Iraq instead os saying I dont think we should go to war with Iraq. But that’s just me. If you can use it though, I guess it’s all nice and good.
It all depends on the prof. This is an old convention (not using the pronoun “I” or “my” etc.), but it’s no longer as “important” as it used to be, particularly given recent trends in literature, English studies, etc. I think it’s all part of some post-deconstructionalism that took place in the early 90’s. It’s not that important anymore, and some people are embracing use of the personal pronouns in terms of making something “the author’s ‘own’”.
Well, we’re not exactly talking about an Orthodox teacher here :) It’s hard to desribe Mr Note.
