I have multiples of some of the ships as you will see. All of them have collector cards as well. There’s a few Canadian ones in there too.

Will sell the whole lot for a discount.

So I was going through old toys in my basement when I stumbled upon a bin of plastic naval ships and cards that I liked when I was younger and decided to list them on Ebay since I really needed money for school. They are game pieces for Axis and Allies: War at Sea.

I set the auction for 50 thinking “well i’d be happy to get a at least that much for them and if it gets bid up a few extra dollars that’d be nice”. Iv’e since gotten almost 200 veiws, 40 watchers and a couple people message me offering me as much as 350 dollars to end the auction and sell it to them!

I guess my question is, are these things really that valuable and did I majorly screw myself over by not researching more and asking for more money? Most of the people making offers or bidding people seem to be re-sellers of the same miniatures, so i’m worried they could be potentially worth more even than that and that iv’e really screwed myself over…

Step 1 is obviously to get a starter pack. But that won’t be enough, so buy some other packs as well. Whatever items you get, you get.

Each unit is worth a certain amount of points. The more powerful the unit, the more points it’s worth. Some of your units will contribute toward your Allied total, some toward the Axis total.

When you play a match, you want each side to have to choose their units. If for example you own 100 points of Axis units and 100 points of Allied units, allow each side to spend significantly less than 100 points for the match. If the Allied force consists of mostly American units, with some British and French thrown in, that’s fine. It’s also fine if the Axis force is mostly Japanese, with a few Germans or even Italians mixed in.

The problem you’ll run into is that some of America’s late war units are OP. This unbalances the game and makes it less enjoyable. To avoid this problem, stick with buying early war units if you can.

I dowloaded the hefty demo 290meg and I wonder how the campaign portion will play out?

Yup LL torpedoes > BB’s, but if your opponent adjusts and you have to deal with USN helldivers+B-25’s they are > LL units
