@RisingSun I had similar experience, I was big into the naval miniatures but couldn’t afford both. I bought a lot on ebay a year or so ago and have played a few games. It is not difficult to learn especially if you are familiar with the navy side, it’s pretty similar but includes facing. I think it’s a great game and wish I had collected it some when it was active.

Want durable printed Acis & Allies miniatures maps at a reasonable cost?

I printed out maps using vinyl banner material from Vistaprint. Using a 50% off coupon proved to be a very economical way to create durable maps. I had to combine maps add borders to some of the maps to make them fit the standard banner dimension. It was simple to trim and cut using a straight edge and razor.

Its a nice peice… I was kinda on the fence with WaS but the carrier machanics/air craft seem alright so I might invest in it  8-)

A successful defensive-fire attack disrupts the target. Since disrupted units can’t move, this
normally ends that unit’s movement. Grizzled Veteran ignore face up, so it can move.

The Winter War, Battle of the Bulge, or a scenario during the Russian Winter would all be good examples, but you are by no means limited to them. More holiday (less Historical) scenarios, such as assaults on Santa’s Workshop will be considered as well.
