Feature request: Pick the order of battles (already exists)

@bratcher You must right click the transport, then right click the units you want to load, then right click the sea zone you want the transports to move to, then right click the territory you want to unload units into. Hope it works for you.

@JuliusBorisovBeamdog I understand, but even though I reached silver in my first season, I ended up in bronze and in this 13th I am in wood, but apparently since I look for games after work at night, I get silver and gold, if I get bronze players I have no problems with that, but I think there should be an option to let you decide if you accept a jump like that in the matchmaking.

Yeah, the current system is pretty annoying. Even after having worked a management-level position in a game development company I’m still amazed by the odd UI quirks that end up in games. I’m always running across things that make me think ‘how did the developers themselves not find this immediately annoying and try to fix it’?, like having your ships decide to move to the ‘wrong’ (from your view) SZ by default.

One thing I keep doing is missing one or two units here or there. It would be nice if I could hit a checkbox when I complete a phase to preview the state of the board before I move on to the next step.

Preview board before ending phase) -> Preview the board -> Confirm end phase

@JuliusBorisovBeamdog Thank you for doing the analysis. My curiosity has been answered and it just turns out that my observations were simply anecdotal and coincidental.

One thing I would like to see is a way to see the match up during Combat Move before I complete the phase.

Clicking on the territory show not only what is already there but also what units you are moving in. In the Combat Move summary, show the match ups. The current screen (below) is useful but if I had the defenders in there too, I can review it an “Make Changes” when I realize I don’t have enough units for a battle.

@Striker I like Global the best, possibly among all wargames. But 42.2 has a faster, chesslike appeal.

I try to play 5 games at once and very quickly, which improves my skills but also leaves plenty of room for me to make mistakes…like speed chess at the renfest where 1 member of the KC chess club takes on 15 all-comers at one time, one move after the next then back to the first game…
