Has anyone found proper colors to use for custom units for 1914 for each power ? I’ve had no luck finding anything so I try to color match to the best of my abilities but if there was RGB or CMYK info out there it would be awesome for modders.

Only the German units attack. See page 22 of the rulebook.

The suggested Persian strategy really makes me hope that the Allies are not permitted to invade neutrals.

The British could then simply march Commonwealth units straight through Persia into Sevastopol and essentially that’s the UK joining Russia on the Eastern Front.

If the Allies are allowed to invade neutrals, and the UK can place more than the odd piece in India, then we’re heading towards a game that is little more than a production race with no real room for strategy.

At least if the giant “Sevastopol” tt were divided east/west then the Turks might stand a chance of heading them off in the Caucasus; I suspect this may become a common map amendment.

I do not like arbitrary rules such as this. The Germans should have to do something to prevent Allied ships moving into the Baltic. If the game is correctly balanced, they should have the means to do this. However, if the German player chooses to, for example, use the fleet to support an invasion of Russia, then the Allies might be strong enough to force the Skagerrak.

I agree. The more you base rules on what happened instead of what could have reasonably happened, the more you are acting out the same old tired thing every game.
