yep Infantry a land unit. Can only be placed where there’s a complex.
Can’t place them directly on a Transport either. Has to be in the Territory where the complex is
UKW Units vs. UKE Units

Has anyone noticed that UKW and UKE units can get confused in Africa, the middle East, the Red Sea / the Med seazones? Thoughts?
-
quite right, but since they are the same units and do the same things, who cares if they get confused? If Indian troops move to Africa and capture it, it belongs to UKEurope not UKIndia.(Europe map) Its quite simple really, and since they are the same units I don’t mind if they get confused, Alexander could have called on Mountbatten at any time to provide troops for the Middle East.

The East/West split for the UK is for the economies only. It doesn’t affect the units - they operate together.
-
There is no such thing as UKW & UKE troops. There are all Brit units. The only difference between UKW & UKE is their build and collect income phase. All the territories east of W. India, including W. India, belong to UK India w/the exception of Bco and Yukon which belong to UK Europe.

only the australian are considered seperate though they were part of the British Empire

Maybe he’s tidy and he wants to put the right units in the right box after the game is finished. If so: draw a small dot on the bottom of each unit.
… not for both East and West of course
