Rule Question: German NO and Russian inf in Novosibirsk

I generally favor a G2 attack as there are very little Russian units on the board, the more rounds you wait to attack the more infantry they can stack in Moscow, Ideally on a G2 attack you can be attacking Moscow or on the brink of attacking when the allies threaten to land. The longer you wait to attack the longer you will have to fight a 2 front war.

If there ever is a third edition I could see new French units for Europe and new US units in the PTO.

Great idea!�  I love it.�  That would definitely solve the question of how to introduce a new set of equipment pieces in Pacific to balance an upgraded French equipment set in Europe.

Note that if the allied air units are controlled by a different player, the decision whether to scramble those units is made by that player.  As with any battle involving multiple defending players, they must decide upon casualties among themselves, and if they can’t decide the attacker chooses.

Also, such air units may only be scrambled if that ally is at war with the attacker.

the order is like the poster above me mentioned, but use the a2 rules. basically you want britian to scramble planes to attack your force. you have sub fodder and more planes dying in a naval fight are less planes in Britain. This has been stated in the bigger threads about sea lion and axis builds.

on a side note, even scrambling planes wont destroy your fleet. carrier to take a hit with 2-3 subs and a cruiser for bombardment, and the 2 scrambled carrier planes.

But remember, subs can’t hit planes and planes can’t hit subs without a destroyer present.

does it mean, that the german player can get up to 10 IPC when controlling both cities?

does it mean, that UK/USA can gain up to 15 IPCs or maximum 5 IPCs? for me as not a native speaker of english it is not quite clear.
if someone as UK or USA captures holland he gains 5 IPCs. okay, but when the same player occupies normandy next round or in the same round. what is then? etc.

The payment is received only the first time that one of those territories is captured/liberated by each power.  Nothing further is received for capturing or liberating another of the territories.  Each power may earn only 5 IPCs per game from this NO.

It wouldn’t add any more territories that aren’t already accessible from zone 97, and it would put all of Italy in double jeopardy.

Well you do realize that is the business plan in a capitalist economy. Car builders do that, video game makers do that, house builders, computer manufacturers and even board game makers do this. Don’t feel bad, buy what you want and that is that. If you feel something better is coming out down the road then just wait, no one is twisting your arm except yourself. Be thankful that new games are constantly coming out, and that we just didn’t stop with the original A&A, no one would play it anymore because it is relatively boring and predictable compared to the newer games now.
