WHERE CAN I OBTAIN AXIS & ALLIES BOARDGAME IN THE UK?

Early, UK needs a couple transports, or he’s no threat to German income, and therefore ignorable…more Nazis to Moscow.

Those transports have to stay alive though, so UK usually has to be conservative and coordinate from round 2 onwards with the US.

US needs to build DDs early to help clear the Atlantic, figs and boms help too…if they don’t have to go to Russia, they can help clear the last of the subs, or the Med fleet if it’s wandering north.

Once the Allies have enough DDs, or the German threat is gone, US switches to nothing but loaded transports…maybe a fighter if he’s got money. UK can pretty much do as he likes, exploiting weaknesses and opening things up for the US.

If a battle occurs before the assault then yes they may, but their cargo goes down with them…

Yes, “most, sometimes, maybe, long-shot” doesn’t cut it. This game should make players want to play both sides just for a change. Though I always choose Axis, perhaps I’ll start playing as the Allies as I’d like to win a few…

What it is that you have a set of technology fields. These would be Land Advancements, Transportation/Movement, Atomic Weapons, ect. The player choses one, or how many ever, though usually I choose one and begins researching it.

At the beginning at each country’s turn, that country gets one free technology. Player chooses specific development and records die roll on chart

Player unlocks new technology after he cumulatively reaches that nation’s probability (20 if excellent, 25 if good, 30 if fair, 35 if poor)

To gain subsequent advancements, 15 (20 if fair or poor) additional technology points are required for L2 and L3 breakthroughs

what makes you think that germany will take russia just like that.If the russian player has half a brain he will be able to form a very strong defensive line strecting from lenningrad though belorussia down to ukraine
