@RisingSun I had similar experience, I was big into the naval miniatures but couldn’t afford both. I bought a lot on ebay a year or so ago and have played a few games. It is not difficult to learn especially if you are familiar with the navy side, it’s pretty similar but includes facing. I think it’s a great game and wish I had collected it some when it was active.

has anyone tried this. Its a lot of fun to repaint the a&a minis
-
ive painted a few of them. i just don’t have the time like i use to when i would paint warhammer fantasy. but they do look tons better after a little elbow grease goes into them.

That Panzer guy over on the other A&AM forums, or whatever his name is, inspired mye to try it out. I haven’t painted in a long time though (my Flames of War models also sit unpainted), so I’m hesitant to try. My GF paints fantasy models, so maybe it’d be a cool couple activity if we painted together. But yea, I’ve been wanting to try…

panzerpainter is crazy look what he did with a hotwheels car http://boards.avalonhill.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=1642&stc=1 and then his Super pershinghttp://boards.avalonhill.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=1850&stc=1

What he did that impressed me most was:
-
Adding soldiers into the halftracks and repainting the whole models.
-
Adding soldiers to the artillery pieces and repainting the hell out of 'em.
-
His Jeeps… oh the Jeeps…
I wish he lived next door to me. I’d shoot him with a tazer and drag him into my closet-turned-painting station. Then I’d shout things like “It puts the lotion in the basket! It does what its told!” under the door.
