@Witt Yeah NA so far behind you
Looking for an opponent to play 1914 using Abattlemap mod from TNTN.
-
As the topic implies.
I’m not very experienced with 1914, but I’d like to try a game, and maybe try some of the new proposed rules from Larry. -
Noll, I’m up for a game if you are?
-
-
Which side has the advantage? This will be my first 1914 game. I’d prefer to play the side w/the advantage… LOL! :-D
-
j/k! I’ll play whatever side. You choose…
-
Everyone says (and I agree!) That the Allies have an advantage. Wabt me to play the central states? Im ok with it
-
Sounds good! I’ll play the Allies. You play the CP’s. I’ll setup the thread in the Play Boardgames section…
-
Started thread…
-
It says that Austria/Hungary goes first. Swing away… :-D It may take me a little while sometimes to take my move b/cuz this is my first 1914 game… Have you played a 1914 game yet?
-
I’m assuming we’re playing w/Russian Revolution option?
-
Yeah let’s play with Russian Revolution.
I just played a single boardgame game, not much experienced.
I’ll get AH turn tomorrow :) [10 hours or so for you!]
-
Ok…

Noll,
I’ve looked at the map. It appears the 1st generation of the ABattleMap for the WWI/1914 game does not include emblems distinguishing between Minor Aligned Powers and non-minor powers. So, I’ve put National Emblems into the following terrtitoies, indicating Minor Aligned Powers : Arabia, Portugal, Bulgaria, Romania, Serbia and Belgium. If I missed any, please let me know. I’ll also post the map and this message to our thread in the Play Boardgames section…

Have you seen the tournament rules? They look intereresting
-
Yes. Just played a WWI/1914 game w/the new tournament rules this weekend. It is much better than the OOB rules. Playing w/the Economic and Political collapse rules are best. They have Strategicon gaming convention in LA three times a year during the President’s Day, Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends. Played the game yesterday. Was VERY fun! We got to Round 4 before my opponent accidentally moved something on the table and completely moved all the pieces all over the board. Basically had to quit at that point. Would you like to play another game?
