I’ve got a game going on right now where my opponent asked ,“when this game is over, please explain what that destroyer is doing over there”. I told him I wasn’t quite sure, I knew on turn 1 what the plan was and it made perfect sense. By the time turn 2 came around, no idea… So I just left it there because I was trusting whatever state of consciousness I was previously in – turns out he was a blocker that I didn’t need anymore. LOL!

It did matter. I chose to save the planes rather than press the attack. Small measure of saving by the dice; I probably go for the throat if I hit 4 times in round 1 like I anticipated. :-)

Well - Italy just proved that right now, naval combat is deadly for everyone. Sheesh….

Well - yeah, the attack on Japan did not go all that well - though, you nuked 2 bombers. Will have to see what the long term affect of that is.
The attack on the Italian fleet went about right, maybe an extra hit + for me - though, you did go in a bit lighter - of course, I only had 2 fighters instead of 3. You crushed Italy on the African front.
Yes - now, where things got weird was off UK. I was kinda suprised you kept going on that last round - not that you shouldn’t have killed both units by the end of round 2 at the latest…I was lamenting how the UK killed all my subs with 2 of 3 hits in both naval battles and killing the sub off Canada too. Was looking a bit bleak for the fleet. Japan - on land - got nuked pretty good too.
So far, its one of those games where I think the dice have been about even overall - but - I got the advantage in a couple of ‘more’ key battles - and you got the advantage in the others…
But, as I have said before - I have not yet begun to mess this game up! :evil:
