It seems the atlitude you plane is at, except for crashing is irrelevant. I must be missing something. How does your altitude matter.
Unit reviews
-
For the next 6 weeks I’ll have one article per week about the A&A boardgames.
With Angels 20 out, I think it would be great to have an article series on the miniatures as well. Basically, it would be 1 or 2 reviews of Angels 20 units per week.
Anybody up for this? If we get enough people writing reviews of the units, we can have a ton of them without too much effort by any one person.
-
No? No unit reviews?
-
Hi djensen, I am really new to the miniatures and would like to know what you are looking for in the unit reviews. Are you looking for reviews on individual planes in regards to their strengths and weaknesses, etc?
-
You got it exactly. A deep dive into the stats, special abilities, how to use the unit in battle, and good units to combine it with. Maybe even a rating of 1-10 whether or not the unit is worth using in your air force.
-
There must be somebody who can do this? Even just one would be awesome.
-
I’d do it… but it would be based on Vergilius’s a lot! :D
-
Who is Vergilius?

Sorry, he’s a researcher on the Forumini who writes really good analysis’s and reviews. Has written a few really good WAS and AAAF posts. I know his reviews have helped my playing! :D
Example:
http://aaminis.myfastforum.org/about32584.htmlI’m just saying that if I did write anything, it would be based on his posts often… cause he’s right! :D

Of the 20+ A&A gamers at my LGS I can’t find even 1 person to play A20 beyond one match. I get the same story with everyone, its fun but I don’t want to invest in another mini’s game. So I have 30 + planes which I can only look at which is a bummer. If I can’t find anyone to play I’m likely going to sell them. :x

That’s fine. I just think that forums are the place for discussion. Stuff like his reviews are gold but they just get buried in the rest of the discussions.
It’s not to say A&A.org isn’t perfectly organized from an information architecture standpoint but it is much better venue than a forum. In the future, I hope to improve this even more.
