Im a Dumb newbie with a question

Alright, I bought the game last night, and started to mess around with it a bit. I’ve read a few posts here that talk about how they created these large units. my question is: How do you amass the money to do so? Thanks in advance for the help!

When you capture a teritory in the game, you gain money at the end of each turn for however much that territory is worth.

is that basically the only way to make ipc’s?

Preatty much, but when you capture a capitol, you get some of that plays I.P.C.s

You could try saving up IPCs each turn so you’ll have more to spend in buying more expensive units.
