    your battleship cannot go to z48 killing the trannies AND go back to 50.  you have to either leave the battleship in 50 or you have to attack 50 with a plane.  if you want to attack with a plane, you are going to have to decide if you want to attack z49 with some combination of the 2 fighters and battleship.  either way, if you want to attack z50 with something other than the battleship, you will have to re-declare what you will attack z49 with and reroll the battle….  you understand why i’m sure.

    probably the most fair thing to do, since you actually made a legal attack with the battleship, is to leave the battleship in z48 since you already rolled z49.  but with this being your first game, i know you would probably not want to sacrifice the battleship for the transports (even though you are of course already killinig more than the battleship is worth…), i am willing to allow you to change your combat moves for z48 and z49, but of course you will have to reroll 49.
